are seeking
qualified business students or to assist Legacee and Legacee's
clients in the United States and Asia.
We are offering an internship in U.S. Internet marketing for anyone interested. Most of the work will be done over the Internet so there is not need to travel or commute to work.
This is a competency-based internship. Each module is based on both understanding and application. There are no grades, but one must successfully apply the theory in a particular module, before going on to the next one.
This works an intern's advantage since:
a. Employers want people who can produce results not good grades,
b. Until one can apply a theory, one does not really understand it, and
c. One can use the internship as a spring board into a marketing job
The internship is based on a class on Internet marketing that will be run at UCLA Extension in the near future. A description is presented below:
Learn Internet promotion tactics such as:
Optimizing landing pages,
Writing pages to appear high on search engines,
Generate traffic via gateways and hubs,
Search engine optimization tools,
How to list with search engines,
The ins and outs of reciprocal linking,
How to run effective e-mail campaigns,
Pay-per-click marketing,
Web site lead generation techniques, and
Special event marketing.
