It’s sometimes said there are three types of people in the world: those who make things happen, those who see things happen, and those who ask, “What happened?”

We all face a choice. You can walk through life kowtowing to the dictates of the system or map your own path. And by creating your map puts, you are taking the first step on the path of heroes. It’s one type of journey followed by those driven to high achievement.

This is not a path for the faint hearted. It requires courage to craft your own path and follow your own vision. After all, will you be most proud — will make you most fulfilled — your resume or what’s said at your eulogy?

Each book offers a separate map showing how to make giant leaps on the journey of life. Ultimately, there will be seven books in the series. And besides the ones below, more will be coming out on transformational leadership development.

Book 1: Skills Mapping:  How To Define the Skills Needed for Future Success (Available Now)

“It’s your strengths that get you hired and weaknesses that get you fired.” — Murray Johannnsen

Many people have trouble changing their socks let alone making meaningful change. This book allows you to define the changes you want to make by refining your vision, opportunities, and threats.

It’s about learning the skill of competency modeling — so you know what traits, abilities and skills to use and what to develop to play the role. The book allows you to discover strengths (which need no more development) and weaknesses (which must be worked on) for elements of character, your personality traits, and Five Core organizational skills.

“If you aren’t getting the results you want, try doing things differently.” —Author’s Observations

Getting better results depends on mastering three things: spot-on strategy, tactics, reflection and continuous self-improvement. This book takes you though the four key skills than make up an Action Cycle that get results. This is a cycle that you run as process, and because it is a process, it can be improved on.
